FESTIVE FUN RUN
On Sunday the most important race in the club's season took place - the 4 mile Festive Fun Run got underway at the crack of dawn around the streets of Newbie with onlookers (some in disbelief) cheering on their favourite characters. This is truly one of the events of the year and much fun was had by all who took part. Santa was being chased down by more than a few Elves who in turn were being caught by the man in the suit AKA Gordy !
Many thanks must go to all of our wonderful catering staff who always come up with the best selection of food for each event (I'm still eating my doggy bag) and to our time keepers and anyone else who has helped thoughout the course of the year.
What a great way to sign off this year !
