The last race of the Seniors' Winter League takes place on the 19th of March in the form of the Potholm 5 mile route at Langholm. Whilst Janet Priestley has secured the Ladies' title there is still all to run for in the Mens' and the minor placings in the Ladies' competition.
The route starts at the Kiln Green car park (from the parking sign nearest to the band stand) and heads out past the Academy before taking the first side road to the right onto the Potholm area. After crossing the river runners turn LEFT then RIGHT and climb the steep track (as they would for the Doctor's Run or New Year's Day) and run back towards the start point. The finishing line is the sandstone gate posts just before the bridge over the river.

As ever there will be a handicap start from 10.30 am. As it is the last race of the season it is hoped that runners could bring a SMALL contribution to a post race picnic (tea, coffee, savouries and sweets!)
