Seniors' Summer Road Championship - Race 1 Brydekirk
The first road race of the summer season takes place on Tuesday 19th April. The event is over the Brydekirk 6.75 miles course which starts and finshes at the Everholm car park in Annan. The course route is shown in the image below.
The run will be the first in this summer's Challenge 5 competition (the other races will be Hightae, Lockerbie 10k, Annan 10m and Gretna Green 10k).
Runners are asked to be ready to start from 7pm and an informal handicap start system will be used although all runners should have their own watch - no time, no points!!!
Runners should consider wearing conspicuous clothing to ensure they are visible on the road, particularly if the weather is inclement.
