Danny & Joe's Run 4 Sick Kids

On Saturday morning team "B" travelled up to Edinburgh to the headquarters of the Sick Kids Friends Foundation to present a cheque to the charity which has helped Danny and his family cope with the challenges he has had. They visited the hospital and were amazed at just how much they did to support both the children and their families.
It was a very enjoyable day which included a well earned trip to Nando's and a double helping of Garlic bread for Danny.
Both Danny and Joe would like to thank everyone for their support over the past 2 months raising over £1526 - an unbelievable total. Thank you from both of us.
THEY SMASHED IT !
This morning Danny and Joe were up early to complete their Parkrun at Carlisle raising funds for the SKFF. They didn't disappoint ! The combined time was 41:57 and on a day when the course was very slippy in places.
Here are some pictures of the day. Many , many thanks to everyone who has helped in any way to make this event happen. The support from our club and beyond has been fabulous. Danny and Joe will be presenting the money raised at the end of October but there is still time for you to donate just scroll down the page and you can see the many ways to do this.
