ADAC athlete Nicole Proudfoot (No.41) pictured along with her team mates Lucy Smith, Lucy Davison and Carmen Neat took the team SILVER in the International Pentathlon Championships in Athlone, Ireland at the weekend.
She represented the Scottish Schools Athletic Association in the one day competition which took place on Saturday. The event tested each athlete’s ability over 5 disciplines including;
Long Jump
High Jump
Shot Putt
Hurdles
800m
Nicole was delighted to represent Scotland and achieved PB’s in the High Jump, Hurdles and an overall points Pb of 3126pts.
She puts her success down to 3 things – hard training, good coaching and family support. Her busy training schedule sees her do 2 technical sessions, an endurance session plus gym work each week.
She hopes to keep on improving and one day compete for Scotland at Senior level.
Well done Nicole !
