WEEKLY NEWS ROUND UP 03/12/17

Ice station Zebra!

Our first taste of winter weather was evident this week. Icy pavements and an icy track meant that Junior training had to be cancelled on Thursday. It is really important that we keep ourselves safe when training. A slip on ice can lead to an injury very easily.

Norman wins the first Senior Town run of the season.

Despite the cold temperatures some 20 Seniors turned out for the first Town run of the season – a run just over 3 miles in Annan. You can read more about the race by clicking here. TOWN RUNS

Ruth wins

The closest guess as to when Joe would run 2017 miles in the year was made by Ruth Griffith who won some chocolates. Enjoy !

Get well soon George!

It was sad to hear the news that George Fraser suffered a broken hip last week and I’m sure that everyone in the club wishes him a swift recovery.

Senior Winter League at Hoddom

There was a great turnout of Seniors at Hoddom for the 3rd race of the season. The race was won again by Ewan Fairgrieve. Results and reports will appear on the website during the week.
