Winter continues to dish out some really cold , frosty conditions to compete or train in but that didn’t stop ADAC athletes getting out and about.
Juniors travel to Workington for the final Cumbria League XC
It was the last event of the Cumbria League Cross Country series over the water (pity there wasn’t a ferry) at Workington on Saturday in cold , but dry conditions. Our Juniors competed over various distances and our U11 and U13 came out on top over the series of races winning their age group team prize. Well done everyone !

As if it wasn’t cold enough at sea level !
Some 6 Senior ADAC athletes took part and battled through snow to the top and back down in one piece. Top position of the day went to Graham (flying) McLellan who finished in 3rd place. Adam Anderson was 5th , Mark Whitelaw 7th , Kevin Plummer 8th,Mark Addis 23rd and Alan Creighton 28th.

Fancy Dress Run.
Our Seniors had a bit of fun in Annan on Sunday as their annual fancy dress run travelled around the streets. They popped in on Junior athletes at the track . The best dressed award went to Johnny Minto and Heather Allam. Well done everyone !
The end of year video.
Yes it’s that time of year again and work has begun on the end of year video which will be posted later this week. If you have been involved in ADAC events over the year and a camera has been around then you may be lucky enough to feature. Stay tuned.
