HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy new year folks !

We’ve made the jump from 2017 and we’re already looking ahead to events taking place in January.

Survey Monkey

A survey monkey (which is a way of asking you what you think about our club and what we can improve on) has been made for 2018 and we would really like every member to get involved by completing a short survey either online or in paper form. There is no need to tell us who you are but the survey  should only be completed by current members of the club. If you have email, then you should be receiving an invite to complete the survey very soon. They will also be made available at training for both Juniors and Seniors. Remember ADAC is you club and your opinions and suggestions will help us to improve.

EGM

There will be an EGM on Wed 17th Jan at Annan Pool, start time 7.00pm. The meeting will consider advice received from Scottish Athletics in relation to guest runners, and to make preparations for the upcoming River Races.

Looking ahead……………

Seniors.........

...are off to Brownmoor on Saturday for their Winter league event No.5 which is a 5 mile (2 lap) event around the “hilly” forest. The fun begins at 1030. Afterwards there will refreshments and a chance to have an easy recce warm down in the Birkshaw forest (about 4 miles from Brownmoor). A new course has been prepared for the upcoming Senior Winter festival. If you feel up to it feel free to come along after the race and jog round some of it to get your bearings for the race. There will be another opportunity before the weekend of the competition. (Jan 26th – 28th).

Juniors.....

......are back to school (Pft!) and hard at work getting ready for indoor and outdoor events in the next few weeks with Cross Country and Indoor Track races coming up. You can check out the calendar events on our website and in the Junior section.
