It’s been a busy week or two with training, indoor and outdoor races and awards evenings.
Seniors tackle Auchenroden forest.
The penultimate Senior Winter league race took place last weekend on a very cold morning with a biting wind making conditions tough going. The results are on our website. The following day Gordon Vivers and Graham McLellan travelled to Glenkiln to tackle the tough 12 mile road race and both had excellent runs with Graham finishing second in the event.
The final race takes place next weekend a 5 mile race up Burnswalk and back. You can click HERE to read more.
Pb’s at Indoor Champs
Zoe , Jake Alex and Courtney travelled up to the Emirates indoor arena last weekend to compete in their age group championships and up against top opposition from around the country competed well smashing their pb’s along the way. You can read more about their successes by clicking on HERE.
Annandale and Eskadale Sports Awards Ceremony
The annual awards ceremony celebrating achievements throughout the year was held last Friday evening and it was excellent to see our very own Bob honoured at this evening. In addition, his middle distance squad came runner up in the Team award. Many congratulations Bob on a lifetime achievement in athletics from the whole of ADAC !

Future Champions Funding
Many of our Juniors received recognition and much needed funding to help them to train and travel to events throughout the country and beyond. It was great to see so many of our juniors receiving awards and it will be good to see the funding put to good use for their futures. Primary School cross country championships

It’s AGM time.
Our AGM is taking place on Monday 26th March
The venue is the meeting room at the Swimming pool in Annan at 7pm. All are welcome and it is your chance to get involved in the future of our club.
