WEEKLY NEWS ROUND UP 20/5/18

The “nearly” weekly news round up is here again and there have been lots of events taking place over the past ten days.

Juniors shine in the sun at Kilmarnock !

The West district championships last year were held in damp, miserable conditions. This year it could not have been different with glorious sunshine and shining performances.

Also, last weekend Danny Gracie went Border raiding as he competed at the Cumbria AA Track & Field Champs. Click HERE to see how they all got on.

Carlisle Urban Trail 10km

During the week our Seniors travelled across the Border to Carlisle to compete in this popular and growing event. The course was a mixture of road and trail and ……………MIDGES!  Swarms of them ! At times runners were blinded by the waves of midges but the event was well organised with two ADAC runners winning prizes in their age categories. We’ll have more on this when results are posted during the week. Well done guys! Click HERE to go to the results page.
